Alap\u00edt\u00f3 tagja volt a MAM\u00dc-nak, k\u00e9s\u0151bb az FKSE tagja, majd t\u00f6bb jelent\u0151s hazai m\u0171v\u00e9szeti szervezethez csatlakozott, k\u00f6zt\u00fck a M\u0171hely M\u0171v\u00e9szeti Egyes\u00fclethez, a Kecskem\u00e9ti K\u00e9pz\u0151m\u0171v\u00e9szek K\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9g\u00e9hez, a MAOE-hoz, a Grafikusm\u0171v\u00e9szek Sz\u00f6vets\u00e9g\u00e9hez, a Magyar Fest\u0151k T\u00e1rsas\u00e1g\u00e1hoz, valamint 2024-t\u0151l a Magyar M\u0171v\u00e9szeti Akad\u00e9mia k\u00f6ztest\u00fclet\u00e9nek Film- \u00e9s Fot\u00f3m\u0171v\u00e9szeti Tagozat\u00e1hoz.<\/p>\n

M\u0171v\u00e9szi gondolkod\u00e1s\u00e1ra meghat\u00e1roz\u00f3 hat\u00e1ssal volt a Kecskem\u00e9tfilmn\u00e9l anim\u00e1tork\u00e9nt \u00e9s rendez\u0151k\u00e9nt elt\u00f6lt\u00f6tt id\u0151szak. Fest\u00e9szet\u00e9nek k\u00f6zponti k\u00e9rd\u00e9seiv\u00e9 v\u00e1lt a mozg\u00e1s, az eml\u00e9kezet, az id\u0151r\u00e9tegek \u00e9s az \u00e1talakul\u00e1s vizsg\u00e1lata. T\u00f6bbek k\u00f6z\u00f6tt elnyerte a bilba\u00f3i Nemzetk\u00f6zi R\u00f6vidfilm Fesztiv\u00e1l Mikeldi da Plata<\/em> d\u00edj\u00e1t, a Kecskem\u00e9ti Tavaszi T\u00e1rlat d\u00edj\u00e1t, a Bozs\u00f3 J\u00e1nos-d\u00edjat, valamint a G\u00e1csi Mih\u00e1ly-d\u00edjat.<\/p>\n

Ki\u00e1ll\u00edt\u00e1sai rendszeresen szerepelnek hazai \u00e9s hat\u00e1ron t\u00fali int\u00e9zm\u00e9nyekben, m\u0171v\u00e9szeti k\u00f6zpontokban \u00e9s kort\u00e1rs t\u00e1rlatokon. Mikl\u00f3s \u00c1rp\u00e1d is a visual artist and animation filmmaker based in Kecskem\u00e9t, Hungary. His artistic practice unfolds at the intersection of painting, graphic art, and moving image, developing a distinctive visual language rooted in the experience of animation and in questions surrounding the perception of time.<\/p>\n

Between 1980 and 1984, he studied at the Ion Andreescu University of Fine Arts<\/em> in Cluj-Napoca, Department of Graphic Arts. He was a founding member of MAM\u00dc, later joined the Studio of Young Artists Association (FKSE), and subsequently became affiliated with several major Hungarian art organizations, including the M\u0171hely Art Association, the Community of Kecskem\u00e9t Artists, the National Association of Hungarian Artists (MAOE), the Association of Hungarian Graphic Artists, the Hungarian Painters\u2019 Society, and, since 2024, the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Arts, Film and Photography Section.<\/p>\n

A formative influence on his artistic thinking came from the years he spent working as an animator and film director at Kecskem\u00e9tfilm. The investigation of movement, memory, layered temporality, and transformation gradually became central to his painterly practice. His works frequently bring together multiple phases of motion within a single pictorial surface, creating images that oscillate between stillness and cinematic continuity.<\/p>\n

Alongside his painting practice, Mikl\u00f3s \u00c1rp\u00e1d has produced a significant body of experimental animation films, including Ekho<\/em> (1990), Szikra<\/em> (1992), The Other Shore<\/em> (1995), Butterfly<\/em> (1999), Bubble<\/em> (2005), Balkan Cake<\/em> (2007), Trip t icon<\/em> (2014), and Revelations<\/em> (2018).<\/p>\n

His works and films have received numerous national and international recognitions, among them the Mikeldi da Plata<\/em> Award at the International Short Film Festival in Bilbao, the Kecskem\u00e9t Spring Exhibition Award, the Bozs\u00f3 J\u00e1nos Prize, and the G\u00e1csi Mih\u00e1ly Prize.<\/p>\n

His exhibitions have been presented regularly in Hungarian and international institutions, galleries, and contemporary art venues. Both his paintings and moving-image works explore the unique transitional space between painting and cinema, where the image is understood as a continuously shifting visual event.<\/p>\n

Works by the artist are held in several public collections, including the Kecskem\u00e9t Gallery, the Contemporary Hungarian Gallery in Dunajsk\u00e1 Streda, the Mad\u00e9falva Gallery, and the Erd\u00e9lyi Art Centre in Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe \/ Sepsiszentgy\u00f6rgy.<\/p>\n
